What is the HPV Vaccine?
A vaccine is a substance that improves immunity to a particular disease. The HPV Vaccine prevents both men and women from developing cancer and genital warts caused by the HPV virus. Who should get the HPV Vaccine?
The vaccine is for girls aged 11 to 12 years. It can also be used as a catch-up vaccination for girls aged 13 through 26 who have either been unvaccinated or have not completed the entire three series of Vaccination.

Cancer vaccines give lifelong immunity to the Human Papillomavirus.
